Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Mortgage
I am a Florida resident who invested in a condo 4 years ago at 138.000 and they are now selling the ones that are in foreclosure at $40.000.What if any penalties would I have to pay if I just up and leave like the other 95 out of 292 have.I am also in a association that keeps having to raise the fees because of people leaving.
Thanks
Jim

Re: Mortgage
You could be sued for the amount of the mortgage they can't recover at a foreclosure auction. Also, they'll likely put the foreclosure on your credit.
