My mortgage lender has started the foreclosure process, is it at all possible for me to save my home?

Yes, you can probably still save your home. A modification might be available to you. You might be able to get the court to order mediation since it is your homestead. You have to be able to offer them something. Without knowing all of the facts and circumstances of your case except that the lender has started foreclosure, it is tough to say anything more.
