Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

We moved from arizona 6 months ago after selling our house and business there. we put all of money $200,000 into a house in florida which other than a car is all the assets outside of IRA's. How long before we can file bancruptcy in florida and exempt the house? we have about $150,000 in credit card debt. Thanks Vic

The basic rule is 6 months, 180 days within the district. There are some very special rules regarding the homestead, and you definitely need to hire an attorney in any bankruptcy.
