Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

Payoff of chapter 13

If I pay off the remaining balance of my chapter 13 early ( I am in month 14 of a 60 month plan), can the trustee or Florida court modify my plan to make me pay more than what was confirmed?

One reason I am asking this is because in the statement I receive from the trustee, the total amount of claims is called 'minimum due'. So if I pay off this 'minimum due' amount, can they seek more, based on the fact that I have more savings now, etc.?

Re: Payoff of chapter 13

Be careful. Some chapter 13 trustees are doing just that. If you can pay it off earlier the trustee is saying you have a higher disposable income. Talk with an attorney to design a safe plan.
