When does a person who met his requirements receive a discharge fro his bankruptcy?

If the bankruptcy is filed under Chapter 7, a debtor receives a discharge about 60
days following the Meeting of Creditors (341 Meeting). The time period may be
extended by the filing of amendments, additional creditors, and other actions by
creditors or the trustee.
