Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
reaffirmation letter received from creditor
I purchased some furniture in 2002 and financed it through their credit plan. I included them in my bankruptcy filing and received yesterday a reaffirmation letter filled out by them that they want me to sign agreeing to pay the balance monthly without interest.
Is this an attempt by the creditor to get me to sign a reaffirmation letter? Do I have to do it? Can they take my furniture? I guess I assumed that furniture was not secured collateral. What if I do not still have all the furniture?
