Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

Is real estate investing an option?

My first question is ...

1. After a bankruptcy is filed is there a limit to the amount of assets you can have or a number of years that must pass before you can own a certain amount of property in the form of investments? I am interested in persuing my goal as a real estate investor.I look for property that is assumable morgages that can be rented to families. Would a personal bankruptcy on my credit limit me to the amt of property i can own in this state or limit the net worth i am able to obtain? Is there a time clause or limitation?

I suggest you compute the time periods from when you obtain a discharge plus six months. This suggested as a matter of prudence. Otherwise you may do as you wish. The answer to your question is no. You may discuss this with me by calling 305-940-8080.
