Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

I recently filed for bankrupcy on my own, i had appeared before court on oct 7, in which my trustee asked me why did i have mail sent from my friend address which is a parralegal. I told her I didn't. In which i did, but I wasn't thinking i was very stressed that week and totally forgot. My sister and her kids was recently living with me at the time, and my mail was getting misplaced, i wanted to make sure i got all my mail. I wasn't trying to mislead the court. I want to know should I contact my trustee and tell her what happened or do i need to get a lawyer.

You should provide any information related to your Chap 7 to the trustee. Omission of information in petitions is not unusual. The trustee may have asked the question because the bankruptcy rules require that any preparer or assistance with the petition be divulged. Explain the facts to the trustee; unless there are additional issues, an attorney is not required.
