Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Relocating
I just filed for bankruptcy and two days later my fiance got notice that his job is relocating him to Tenn. in a month. My hearing is after the move date. Am I allowed to relocate with him and come back for my hearing? Or is there a specific amount of time that I need to stay in Florida? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You

Re: Relocating
Your residency is established on the date of filing. You are a Florida resident so you can come back for the hearing and all should be well. A change of address should be given the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court in order to mail you appropriate paperwork (like the discharge).
