Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
I just got served a court summons where I am being sue over unpaid loans from a credit union, is it too late to file for chapter 7 and include those loans

No, it is not too late, but that will really screw up your credit for years and years. Try to negotiate a reduced amount and work to pay it off.

I have to disagree with Mr. Wagner's suggestion about bankruptcy and credit. Often, bankruptcy can be better for your credit than the lawsuit that's currently pending against you. And a "payment plan" can cause you credit score to remain low for longer than bankruptcy in many circumstances. You should speak to a bankruptcy lawyer, who can let you know how you might be affected by bankruptcy. It is not too late to file bankruptcy.
