Fla. Bkruptcy.- spouse as co-signer on car

my spouse is a co-signer on my automobile that i want to bankrupt..does he have to file or can he just take a bad credit rating without filing?

He does not have to file. Have you tried to sell it? There are some alternatives. Vol. repo., etc.
