Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Hello, I started to file for BK and paid my lawyer a deposit. After long consideration I�ve decided to settle my debts and not proceed with the BK. I'm I entitled to get the deposit back?

Read the contract; generally attorney will refund a deposit less attorney's time, fees and costs. Sometimes, the contract states that the deposit is non refundable; however, most attorneys will consider returning some or all of your initial deposit.
