Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
IN the State of FL - former wife of 3 years who has signed over the house to the husband during divorce - name no longer on the title. Howevr, house is going into bankrupt procedings. Is the former wife still liable for the morgtage note? No longer lives in the state of FL. What is her liability?

If the former wife signed the note and mortgage, she is still liable, jointly and severally. If you are filing bankruptcy she will have to be listed as a co-debtor.
