Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
ten year old debt, should i file bankruptcy
My debt is about ten years old and I would like to clear it up,should I file bankruptcy? One credit card company is trying to get judgment against me and I have default on school loans. I am also low income, unmarried, with two kids so my solution must be inexpensive.

Govrrnment guaranteed student loans are, generally, not dischargeable in bankruptcy. As to your other debt, you fail to provide the base times from which the statute of limitations can be accurately determined. You seem to have no assets which could be used to satisfy a judgment. Thus, the cheapest solution is to do nothing.
