Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Timeshare
My husband and I are filing for a divorce. The only property owned jointly is a timeshare which I would like to keep.
My husband is planning to file bankruptcy. What can I do to keep the timeshare?

Re: Timeshare
The timeshare is marital property. You'll have to buy out his half of the equity. The bankruptcy won't affect that fact, but it will make it easier to transfer the timeshare to you, since the bankruptcy could take him off of the loan, if there is one.
