Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
I am unemployed. I have credit cards debt and a car loan payment of 300 per month (total balance of 14K) I am thinking in filling bankruptcy. Can I include the car? am I suppossed to keep paying that car monthly payment or the judge would refinance the balance for me in better terms. I would appreciate your answer. Thanks.

If you file for bankruptcy, you might be able to refinance the balance due on your car for a lower amount. It has nothing to do with the judge, though. There are companies that specifically work with people in bankruptcy to refinance auto loans. Whether you qualify depends on a number of things.
Bankruptcy is complicated. You would be well served to consult with an attorney who is experienced in this field. Our office files a lot of bankruptcy cases. We offer a free consultation and would be happy to speak with you about the situation.
