Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Wage garnishment
I would like to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy. I have no assets other than the income from my temporary job. Can I still file 7 and avoid wage garnishment if I am married and the debt was obtained before my marriage? Would my spouse be liable for my debt?
