Wage garnishment/judgement
I would like to know if a judgement is made against me in a civil lawsuit-1. can my wages be garnished for the judgement and 2. if I file bankruptcy can I get rid of the judgement?

Yes they can garnish your wages after getting a judgement unless you raise certain exemptions.

Wages can be garnished, but are subject to constiutional exemption. You must file an affidavit and Motion to Dissolve the wage garnishment. Check out garnishment statute for details. Bankruptcy will generally afford you relief.
