Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

wages

I missused credit cards that are in my wife's name but I am an authorize user, since theyare also issue with my name; I haven't pay them for 9 months, and creditors as you know are calling and sending leters etc. I was able to keep 6 credit cards in good standing including our car and mortgage payments, and I am thinkingh in filing bankrupcy #7 total.

Because I am an authorized user of the credit cards, is my intention to include them (only the ones that are in default that totall 40K) in my personal bankrupcy proceedings.

The only tangible assets that we have are the house with an equity of 100K, one car that we owe $4500 is worth $2500 and another one that is worth $800.00

Getting rid of the debts will allow me/us with my present salary (gross 30K) to continue living.

But is correct that the credit card companies/or collectors can garnish up to 25% of your salary? of course before you file for bankrupcy.
