Will getting married affect me filing for bankruptcy?

Assuming you are married at the time you file bankruptcy, and your spouse is working, yes as the law requires that you account for both your incomes. It could very well push you from a chapter 7 into a chapter 13. But as Attorney Groot stated, we need more facts.
