Yes, 2 business can work out of 1 location provided you are not violating any zoning ordinances and have the appropriate local occupational licenses with the city and county in which the businesses are located. I recommend speaking to a local attorney who practices corporate law. Specifically, I recommended speaking to someone who forms businesses and advises small businesses. You always need a good accountant and a good attorney when you start a new business.

It is very common to have multiple businesses operating out of one location. Each business must obtain all required and appropriate business and occupancy licenses, sales tax accounts, and the use must be permitted under the local zoning law. I suggest you hire a business attorney to help you work your way through the various requirements and establish the financial and legal arrangement between the businesses for sharing the space.
