Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I own 22% of a Land Surveying "S" Corp. in Orlando, FL. From 1999 to 2006 I was recieving handsome quarterly dividends. Because of our failing economy I have not recived any dividends since January 2008. When I stopped working for the company in Dec. 2006 I had aprroximately $50k in my retained earnings account. The president and 54% owner of the company has stated he is going to start using the retained earnings to keep the company running and pay employees. Can he use the retained earnings for this purpose and how can I get my money out?

I believe this is too complex a question for this forum. You should seek personal legal advice from an attorney who may handle all aspects of your case.
