Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
My adult son signed a contract with a boat business in the Orlando area to sell his boat. The business sold the boat, but keep putting off paying my son the 14 or 15,000 that they owe him. He has been patient with them. They said they would wire him the money. He gave them the account number and they have yet to wire the money. He still has the title to the boat. What is his recourse?

His recourse is to sue. Due to the amount of the dispute, he may have to file in circuit civil court instead of small claims. It sounds as though your son has a strong claim, especially because there was a sales contract.
