Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Advertising Contract
I am in a dispute with a company over them billing me for a 2nd run of advertising I did not agree to. The wording on the paperwork I signed does not state I agreed to re-occuring monthly ads but has wording regarding if I do have that service that they can charge me. They have sent my file to an attorney and are trying to collect for ads I never authorized and agreed to. the wording on the paper I signed only has one line even refering to this, it states: ''Change/Cancel for Self-Renewing Month-to-Month mailing: 10th of the month preceding the month of mailings'' the word self-renewing is underlined and the rest of the form only outlines the one ad I did and those dates? They state that line gives them the right to bill me and that I agreed to every mailing- I think it is incorrect and not disclosed properly- help me

Re: Advertising Contract
The facts you present don't look good for you. An attorney may be able to pressure them into dropping or lessening the charges.
