Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Advice on how to promote a product I designed.
I have designed a product I think would be of
interest to Florists either in their stores or
in their catalogs online or both. #1. How do I present
it to company? #2. Should I patent it first? What
do i do?

Re: Advice on how to promote a product I designed.
You need to seek the advice of an attorney who specializes in patent law. The information you share with the lawyer is protected under the attorney-client privilege. If you share your ideas with a florist, then you should not expect that florist to maintain your invention or new product a secret. As such, it is important to protect the new idea first, before sharing it with a florist or with the public at large. Seek the advice of counsel and good luck.
