Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Breach of contract
I sold my 50% share of my llc to my partner in Oct. '08. In the contract he was to repay a personal loan given to us by my mother (on a monthly payment). He has been delinquent for 4 months now and will not respond to her or I. Do I have grounds for Breach of Contract? Can she file a judgement against them or a lien?

Re: Breach of contract
It sounds like either you or your mother would have "standing" to sue for breach of contract.
The process by which you proceed depends on a number of things, including the amount of the loan which is to be repaid, and the language in the contract.
