Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
We want to do business in Florida and have an LLC registered in another state. Can we use the LLC in Florida or do we have to register the LLC and pay Florida LLC fees?

You have several choices. You can register as doing business in Florida and pay the fees, or domesticate the LLC into Florida and pay the fees.
Depending where you are a LLC and if you will continue doing business there, it may make more sense to domesticate the LLC to avoid the fees from the other State.
As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorney answer. A "foreign" (out-of-state) entity doing business in Florida needs to register and pay Florida's fees. It's part of the cost of doing business in another state. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
