Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

Business

I owe a company money and have offered them a payment plan. I have done this before many times with this company but with another credit manager. This credit manager has refused my plan and requests a plan that I can not afford or threatens to put us into collections. In addition he also refuses to sell me cash in advance for merchandise I need. In essence what that does is shut my business down as he has product that can not be bought elseware.

Do I have an legal standing ?

Re: Business

No -- the company is under no obligation to offer payment terms that they do not wish to. You agreed to certain terms and if you cannot meet them, they do not have to let you pay as you wish and can turn you over to collections, sue you or even refuse to sell further items to you. That may be a bad business decision for them if it puts you out of business, but it is their decision to make.
