Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
What is the best business structure to protect future business income of a joint business owner from an ex spouse who recieves support? The business owners are married to each other and trying to keep frivolous support increases at bay while trying to build their business. We are NOT trying to avoid payments as we hope to generate sufficient income to get custody.

The issue is more one of family law than business law. You can separate your personal assets from business assets by establishing either an LLC or a Corporation. However, how this may affect your child support obligations is a family law issue.
