Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
We are looking to buy a barber shop, established for 35 years. How much would it cost to transfer ownersrhip of a small barber shop to a new owner? The owner is a sole owner with no other partners,he's retiring and the facility is a leased for 5 years under his name, with sublease capability, which we are planning to take over. What is the price (approximate ball park) to hire an attorney to do the transfer?

Typically it runs around $500 to $750. However, it depends upon some factors which could cause it to go over that .
It will save time and money if the parties do the leg work, i.e. contact the landlord and get the estoppel information and approval for the assignment of lease.
I have done barber shops, nail salons, etc. If I can be of help, contact me at 954-752-1732.
