Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Cell Phone Contract
If my company has a contract for their cell phones with a large company that is merging with another large company to form a new company under a different name, is my company required to stay with that newly formed company for the remainder of our contracts? We purposely avoided the second company for numerous reasons and are not happy with these merger plans. We would like to close our accounts without penalty if we can and chose a different cell phone carrier.

Re: Cell Phone Contract
Does the contract cover assignment/merger issues? If so, the provision controls.
