Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Does a clinic legally have the right to charge you a "no show" fee??

Depending on the circumstance, but most likely yes. Because you have a contract with them that spells out this policy to you.
As a franchise attorney, I say the correct answer is it depends. Do they post their "no show" fee policy? Is it specified on their invoices, etc. so customers are likely to know about it. If they've informed you about this policy, either by direct statements or by one of the other methods mentioned, then they can say you knew about it in advance. If not, you have a good argument that there is no such right. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
