Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Closing business/ responsibilities
I own a small business and we are not making it.I want to close up soon. We are a s corp but the lease is in my name. 7 year. I plan on closing the business and leaving the state. What would my best option be. Do I send the landlord a certified letter stating we are out of business? What can he do other then keep the 2 month deposit?

Re: Closing business/ responsibilities
if the lease is in your name he(the landlord ) could sue you personally. I
would suggest you call me to discuss this problem.
