Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
our company did a/c work for a business and its been a month since we've tried to collect payment with no resolution, and no word back from corporate/management. The company is leasing the building we provided work for them in. I am going to file a lien. Do I file against the Owner of the Building even though he is leasing it to this company, or do I file against the company Owner? or can I do both just in case?

The lien, if any, is against the property, however, a construction lien has certain statutory requirements and prerequisites that must be met. In simplest English, it is almost certainly worth your time and money to meet with a qualified attorney to discuss the lien process. Good luck.
You cannot file lien against tenant. You can bring an action to collect.
