Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Is a company that has competition with three other companies in the same field, allowed by law to sell a product for less than they pay for it? They are selling this product for less than anyone, and are paying the same price. This company is also the largest in the area.It seems as if they are selling the material for less to try and force the others to close their doors.
Thank you,

As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. Free competition is favored under the law, except when it is part of an attempt to monopolize. This is a complex area of the law and requires a personal consultation, as well as a detailed analysis. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
