Contracts
A 17 year old male entered a recording contract in which his mother signed for him since he was not of legal age. His nor his mother had no knowledge of the music business and the contract is unfair. He is now 18 years old and would like to break the contract. Is this possible.

A court proceeding to rescind the contract is necessary.

The contract MAY be voidable. You should consult with a local attorney. Also, take a look at O.C.G.A. Sec. 13-3-20 which is veiwable at: http://www.legis.state.ga.us/htdig/search.htm
