corporate by-laws
a church has a set of bylaws, by-laws
require a vote to change them. the
church changes it's name, but is
according the state it is the original
name now dba the new name. can the
pastor make new by-laws, or does the
new church name fall under the old
bylaws

Changing the name of a business entity doesn't change that entity's bylaws.
