Can my current employer search my tax filing and see I am working part time for a competitor?

They cannot request a copy of your tax filings without your signature, but they could always just call your current employer and ask to verify your employment. If you signed a non-compete, you may want to speak with an attorney about whether you may be violating it. Regards,
