Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
My daughter has been attending recreation cheer at a local gym. My good friend is the coach but never signed a contract with the gym owner. The gym owner closed the doors and no one can contact her. It was a new program. 2 months old. The coach never received payment from the owner. The parents have paid monthly and we just ordered uniforms. What type of action can we take?

As a Franchise Attorney I think the key words in your question are "owner closed the doors." You can always try and sue via small claims court, but will this get anywhere with a business that's out of business? Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
