Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

during a deal, business purchase, i was promised to get a base of customers from sales that were generated from sales generated previously at the store being purchased. the customers are still active and on a monthly recurring service. whatcan i do if the seller does not want to give the promised customer base to me? this was not part of the written contract.

can the contract be cancelled or can i force the seller to transfer the customer based as promised?

there are witnesses of the spoken deal. also, the agent who made the sales was also told that his customers were going to be transferred to the new owner (me) after the purchase.
