Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
dereliction of contract (breech)
In 2002 we allowed a close friend to become partners in a business opportunity. He brought no money into the business, just a pen to commit to a 25 year mortgage and property taxes. He walked out after only 11 months into the business. I have been personely running and paying all the bills. How can I get him to pay his part of the mortgage, and taxes. He refuses to take his name off the mortgage but wont't pay. He want at least 70,000 to sign. I will not forclose and loose all the hard work I have put in building this business.
