disolving construction business
Our two sons started a construction businessover a year ago. Last summer our youngest son was killed in an auto accident. His older brother could not keep the business going alone anymore. He is still going through alot of trauma related to his brother's death. What can he do to'undo' the business officially?

Re: disolving construction business
He needs to pay all the debts, dissolve the company with the state and any dba names, make sure that no new customers/clients/work is accepted, let all former suppliers/subs/etc. know that the business is closed. That is the short answer; it can be much more complicated. If the company has assets, then maybe he should sell everything to a competitor. Let me know if he wants help with this process; don't sell a company with the help of an attorney.
