Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I am going through a divorce and am thinking about purchasing my lawncare business. I've been told that the business will need to be evaluated. There are about 30,000 in equipment and 40 mowing accounts that are not contracted. The x wife is the bookkeeper. She wants to say the business is valued at 300,000$.
How is a lawn care business evaluated?

The lawn care business is going to be evaluated by an independent 3rd party with the requisite knowledge and expertise required. Business valuation is a matter of fact - evidence will need to be introduced substantiating any valuation one way or the other.
