Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Are electronic signatures legal? The contract we signed didn't have the correct names of the owners on it but it was signed electronically by the legal owners?

Electronic signatures may be legal. E.g., electronic signatures are used on documents filed in bankruptcy and other cases, but there are requirements to authorize and validate such signings. Does the contract provide for such signatures? Was the signature performed electronically by the owner who intended to sign the contract? Increasingly, electronic signatures are valid in such situations, but depend on the context of the signing and
specific contract provisions.
Contracts may be enforceable even if not signed. You should consult with an attorney and explain all of the details surrounding the contract.
