employ pay

i recently quit a job for being accused of stealing money i was an assistant manager and my name was slandered for something i had no part in. when i got the job i had to sign a paper stating that if i quit or was fired my pay would go to min. wages. my second to last check was cut. is this really legal.

It does not seem legal but I do not practice employment law. You should consult an attorney who practices in this area to see if the employer has the right to do this. If litigation is necessary, the prevailing party will probably be entitled to attorney's fees.
