Employer responsibility
If an employer has a business function (i.e. a party) and provides to drink tickets or pays for drinks is the business liable if an employee has an accident after leaving the function?

Almost always, the answer to your question is "no." In very very rare cases someone serving alcohol can be liable but that is very unusual and would depend on the facts.
I have assumed the employee is an adult who could legally drink. If not, there would be liability for serving alcohol to a minor.
