Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
If i file a lawsuit in Ohio against a Michigan company within the statute of limitations for both states, but the case is later removed to federal court or Michigan, can the case be dismissed because i filed the case in the wrong state?

Persumably, if you file the case then you can dismiss the case at any time for pretty much any reason. You may be obligated for a date certain, like if a hearing is scheduled, etc. but otherwise a plaintiff can on their own accord dismiss a complaint. The other side of course may file counterclaims and your dismissal will not dismiss their complaint of course.
Check with a litigator in the jurisdiction where you intend to file.
