Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

I filed a law suit against an auto accesories store which had done damage to a vehicle I used to own. Since then I have moved several hours away. I am now a disabled veteran unable to travel as sitting for extended periods causes me severe pain. The judge has been advised of my situation and provided with a copy of my VA proimary care physician's statement prohibiting me from traveling. We have a hearing for a change of venue motion I filed. I'm tryign to get the case moved closed to where I live. Please advise of any resources I may use or supporting information I can use during the hearing. Thanks.

Sincerely,

If the basis for your change of venue motion is that you are disabled and cannot travel, all you have to do is attach your physician's statement. There is no magic to it; just tell the judge what you told me. It sounds reasonable to change venue, unless it would cause undue hardship on the defendant. Additionally, the venue you want to change to must have original jurisdiction to hear the case, so you can't move it to Georgia or something funky like that.
