Final judgement in small claims court
How do we get our money from a final judgement if the defendant(window contractor) claims he has no money and owns nothing but an old beat up truck?
Can we claim any of our losses on our home owner's insurance or income tax return?

It is not recoverable under your insurance; It is not deductible. Keep after the guy that owes you.
