Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
In Florida, I entered into a commercial lease in December 2009 for a bar/restaurant in which my landlord at the time put in writing that I would have " first rights of refusal" if he ever was looking to sell the property or had an offer on it. On September 1, 2010 , I come to find he sold the property to a friend of his, without my knowledge...Had I known he wouldn't offer it to me for purchase, I wouldn't of spent in excess of $60,000 in renovations..What are my legal options??
